Five Things Men Really Want

A good woman knows exactly what a man wants. She can tell what our deepest desires are and knows how to satisfy those needs. Some may think all these desires revolve around sex. This is not true. Men want a lot more than just sex. I know a lot of men (including myself) who have turned down sex from attractive, eager, and willing women. So what else are men searching for in women? Here’s five:

Woman’s Trust

Men hate the feeling that the one they are with are constantly looking over their shoulders and asking a million questions about where they have been. This stems from the notion that women don’t trust men. That’s why men joke about having to do certain tasks to keep their woman happy. Not all men out there are bad just like not all women out there are crazy. Just trust us. Jasmine trusted Aladdin, and look how they ended up.

Companionship

Men like to cuddle too. At least I do. Basically, men want one thing: someone who makes them happy. Men have their good days and bad days too, and simply want someone to share the good times and bad times alike. Nobody wants to be alone forever. It’s a great feeling knowing that someone out there is thinking about you and cares about how you are doing (insert Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone” song here).

Woman’s Respect

Respect is a big deal. Men want respect from their women. As a guy, it is incredibly frustrating when we’re giving our best only to receive very little or no respect from the person we’re with. Respect is the foundation of any relationship. If the woman truly respects the man, he will stand by her side and do whatever it takes for her. We ride together, we die together. Respect.

Personal Space

Sometimes men just want to do their own thing. It could be in the form of a guy’s night or in the form of complete solitude. This has nothing to do with the woman they are with, but rather with their personal agendas. Every guy wants to make a name for himself. Each has a personal hobby, task, or goal to accomplish. When reached, it gives them a sense of accomplishment.

Wanting Him For Who He Is

Men want women who love them for who they are, not for their material possessions. Truth is, gold diggers do exist out there. Unfortunately, that’s not love. A woman who genuinely laughs at a man’s corny jokes, loves the dorky things he does, and would never magnify his insecurities in a negative way is what we all like to call a “keeper”.
