Keep Smiling
Our brain is divided into two parts. The first part deals with an emotional thought process while the other part deals with a logical thought process. We live in a world that is seen through an emotional filter. As humans, we tend to act more on our emotions than we do in a logical sense. For example, when you close your eyes and a chocolate candy bar is waved under your nose, you instantly associate that smell to a chocolate candy bar. Emotionally, your mind is triggered by the smell and automatically it tells you that it is a chocolate candy bar.
Smiling has physiological properties that helps improve health and longevity. There’s also a secret behind smiling. Our minds cannot differentiate between a real smile and a fake smile. Emotionally, our bodies will react in a positive way even if we force a smile. In other words, if you are having a bad day, take the time out to smile because it will make you feel better. Besides, a simple smile can brighten up another person’s day. =)
